Committees
NDIM has several academic and non-academic committees meant for the holistic development of students. The very inception of these committees is based upon in-depth deliberation and active participation of students. All the societies like CSR, Dance, Fashion, Sports, Music, and Literary etc are created with the democratic process. It involves a process of an election where students have chosen their respective club and voted for their presidents. These clubs and societies take initiatives on their own and plan their meeting and its agenda well in advance. They meet on a regular basis to discuss their business and work all around the year. The other academic committees like placements, research, and disciplines also involve a significant proportion of students’ members along with the faculty coordinators. All the student members are encouraged to take initiatives for the events and they manage the events on their own with supervision of faculty coordinators.
These committees divide their work as Educational Clubs and Student Societies which function in a democratic way. The main objective of the committees is to oversee the academic and extra-curricular affairs of the college. The members of the committees sit together at regular intervals of time to develop the ways and means to ensure that quality teaching-learning process should remain the topmost priority. These Committees also formulate the guidelines, rules and regulations of all Academic and Societal affairs of the College.
NDIM strongly believes in all round development of students. The activities carried out by these Committees help the students in getting an experience of working in teams, organizing various types of events, and developing insight into multiple functions of management.
